Patriot Pass Redesign

Context/background

When our small team of Java developers decided to take on a complete redesign of George Mason University’s account management web app, we weren’t sure how to start.

What I did

I volunteered to fill in the missing role in UX and UI design. I analyzed pain points, prioritized features, and accordingly designed/iterated on mockups and prototypes on Adobe XD to drive our design discussions forward. Consequently, I was selected by my team to present our solutions to other colleagues in the department to get buy-in, and helped plan unmonitored usability tests with focus groups.

Results

Currently in production, this redesigned web application significantly enhanced the UX for over 40,000 users, reducing related daily support call volume by over 90%.
